Tanya- I was born in Overland Park, KS (a suburb of Kansas City). I have two sisters and the best Mom & Dad possible. I grew up in a happy home until I was 18. Then I went to the Univ. of Nevada/Las Vegas. I got my degree in hotel management. That's where I met my future husband! Can you guess who? That's right, Matthew Walsh. It was love at first sight, well almost.
I started working for Marriott Hotels for three years. I really learned a lot and it gave me a good base for what I do now. We moved to Tampa (through a transfer) and then decided to take a leap of faith and open an ice cream store! Who would've thought that two middle flower children could do such a thing.
We researched all aspects of the ice cream business and opened our first store December 1991. We have two stores now, a good wholesale business, and Matt does lots of ice carvings. I love children and people in general of all ages and I really enjoy meeting the customers. I have met some of my best friends through the stores. We are always trying to think of new flavors, promotions, and just fun stuff to keep our company on the cutting edge.

Matt Walsh was born in Pittsburgh, PA. At age 9, he moved to Duluth, MN at 16 to Joliet, IL. Graduated from Joliet Jr. College with a A.S. Chefs Degree. Worked then graduated from Univ. Las Vegas, Nevada with a Hotel Administration B.S.
Matt then traveled for 2 ½ years and 100,000 miles to 38 countries as a back packer. In order they were: Japan, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Thailand, Burma, Laos, Canada, Mexico, The USA, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, England, Ireland, Wales, Holland, Germany, East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Italy, France, Belgium, Austria, Venezuela, Columbia, Switzerland, Kenya, and lastly Tanzania.
Matt is the middle of 5 children, loves to play guitar and sing, and do Musical theatre. He loves History and reads constantly. He is now enjoying the single life.

Talia- was born December 23, 2000. Our beautiful daughter came into our lives when we went to get her in China, her homeland when she was 10 months old on November 19, 2001.
Talia cried and cried the first day, but has been lovely and lively and endearing ever since. She loves Mama and Dada and Jesse very much.
She is the smartest girl and very good. She loves gymnastics, swimming, and driving the golf cart and playing piano and harmonica.She loves playing with crutches, coloring and watching The Wizard of Oz.She also loves horseback riding, and knows all her bones and all the presidents.
Kaiya is 5 years old. She was found on a street corner near Wuhan, Central China at 2 days old. She too cried the first day we got her at 11 months old .We adopted her too.
She brings hugs and smiles to everyone. She is the joy of our lives. She loves to swim, color and drive the golf cart, and play piano.
Kaiya loves bike riding , horseback riding, and Austin Powers movies. She Too knows all her bones and all the presidents.
Both girls love thier gerbils and bunnies.
Jesse- It's believed that Jesse was born in the Tampa (Florida) area around September of 1998. Her beginnings are mysterious since she came from the pound as a stray.
Tanya and Matt found Jesse at the Falkenburg Road dog pound. She was the only inmate that kept her cool while all the other dogs went bonkers. She is very smart.
Jesse knows more than 20 tricks (taught by Tanya) and has survived one car accident (an S.U.V.).
Jesse is the best Australian Cattle dog in the USA.
Tuti- left her home of Java, Indonesia in 1996 and headed for the United States of America, where she would join the team of Tanya & Matt's Ice Creamiest in 1999.
Tuti, who is known for her warm and friendly personality, is the store manager of our Westshore Plaza location. She really enjoys working for Tanya & Matt's Ice Creamiest and she enjoys meeting all the great people that come to Westshore Plaza.
SuperBear- Superbear also known Beary Marshmanallow. Fights crime, cravings, and the heat with his special powers. His powers include strength, agility, honesty, and his super nose can sniff out the best new flavors. He works with his partner Ice Princess to defeat the Evil Dr. Heat , who is thier mortal enemy.
Ice Princess - also know as Barbra Iceland. Her calm cool collected demeanor is usefull when fighting crime or attending the coolest events. Her powers include flight, super speed, and the ability to generate cool and emote style.
Evil Dr.Heat - The Evil Dr.Heat accrues his powers from the sun. His goal is to over heat the world and make people uncomfortable. It's up to Tanya and Matt's Crime Fighting Duo Superbear and the Ice Princess to STOP Dr.Heat from his evil goals.
